Born in St. Petersburg, Russia. After graduating from University, I studied traditional and contemporary ceramics in Russia, Latvia, Italy and Uzbekistan.

 

With a focus on eastern pottery and ceramics firing techniques, I try to combine modern experimental comprehension of clay material and traditional approach to ceramics making process. Bringing diverse media and solid research into a more traditional craftmanship-focused studio practice, I create contemporary and utilitarian objects inspired by ancient aesthetics.
